We are excited to bring you updated materials on the Novell strategy, Web services, and our new solutions families. Completing this course prepares you to take the Certified Novell Salesperson exam and obtain your CNS 2004 certification.
Module 1: The Novell one Net Strategy
This module will help you learn about the Novell strategy, our
foundation technology Novell eDirectory and how Novell is positioned
in the new Web services environment. You will also learn how to use
the Novell solution-selling process to provide business solutions to
your customers as well as how to sell Novell products under our
licensing program. Module 2: Advanced Web Application Development
This module introduces you to Novell's approach to Web services
and a standard operating environment. By leveraging Web services,
you can help your customers get the most out of their existing
technology investments and create new dynamic corporate portals to
facilitate business with those inside and outside of their
organization. Module 3: Novell Resource Management
This module focuses on the biggest cost of owning a network -
management. Learn how directory-enabled management of everything
from desktops to servers to handheld devices can greatly reduce your
customers' network management headaches. The entire ZENworks family
is included in this module. Module 4: Secure Identity Management Solutions
This module will help you build complete enterprise security
solutions for your customers with modular, cross-platform components
from Novell. Based on eDirectory, components can be integrated with
your customer's existing security system. DirXML, Novell Account
Management, BorderManager, iChain, SecureLogin, and Novell Nsure
Audit are included in this module. Module 5: Collaboration Solutions
This module introduces new ways to help your customers
collaborate with mobile workers and improve their business
productivity. GroupWise and NetMail are discussed in this
module. Module 6: Networking and Storage Solutions
This module teaches you how to solve your customers' networking
and storage problems with industry-leading Novell technologies such
as NetWare and the Novell Small Business Suite.
